The convention officially begins at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 6, and concludes at noon on Sunday, July 8. On Thursday the exhibits, human care activities, prayer room, and registration open at noon. The convention will kick-off with a Service of Dedication and Blessing at 6:00 p.m. and the Meet and Greet at 7:00 p.m. The Board of Directors will meet at St. Paul Lutheran, Bellmead at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5.

The Hilton Waco and the Courtyard by Marriott Waco will accept reservations beginning January 1, 2018. The group rate for the Hilton Waco is $145 plus tax. The group rate for the Courtyard Waco is $135 plus tax. Both rates are good for one to four persons per room. The convention rate will not be available after June 4, 2018.

Author Donna Pyle will present a brand new Bible study prepared for the convention. Texas District LCMS President Ken Hennings will serve as the Proclaimer for the opening worship service. Wendysue Fluegge will be the song leader for the convention and entertain us with a program on Saturday evening. Rev. Naveen Nischal, Executive Director of Reaching Indians for Christ and Director of the Lutheran Student Center at UT Arlington, will be the Mites in Action Speaker. LWML President Patti Ross will share her vision for LWML - Engage, Encourage, Equip, and Enjoy.
