GOAL:
God’s Own Amazing Leaders
A one-day multi-zone leadership conference will be held on Saturday, Aug.
27, at Peace, Hurst, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and is leadership training open to all
women of the LCMS (not just LWML). Think about young women in your church
you recognize as having leadership potential. And bring them! They will gain
tools to use in their everyday life. Lunch will be served.
Fall retreat Sept. 9-10
Fall Retreat is Sept. 9 & 10 at Glen Lake Camp, Glen Rose. Friday evening
includes a field trip to The Passion in Glen Rose. Former MISS USA Dr. Shirley
Barret will present Saturday Bible study “Me #1 to God #1.” Closing
with communion service will be around 3 p.m. Registration and ticket costs
