Rosanne Capdeville

Vice President
of Communication

The purpose of this
office is to inform the membership and public
of the full scope of the LWML's work through accurate and effective communications.

New District LWML Brochure
The Texas District LWML brochure is available in PDF format for you to download and print. The brochure is black and white with some color; use letter-size paper or special brochure paper to print on.

Remember to flip the paper along the short side when printing landscape, or horizontal 2-sided documents.

Lutheran Witness
Zones and societies are invited to submit articles and/or pictures to District News Editor Laura Wilson, whose contact information is included in each issue.

When you submit an article or picture, please remember:

  • Deadline is the 9th of each month;
  • The editor always works two months ahead of the actual publication. In other words, what you submit by Jan. 9 may not be published before March;
  • The district editor reserves the right to edit articles;
  • Pictures should be clear with sharp contrast for the best reproduction. Digital photos and scanned photos that are e-mailed to the editor are acceptable.
  • Zones and societies throughout the district glean ideas from the Witness. Always share your special events and speakers;
  • Articles and/or photos recognizing members for their LWML accomplishments are another way to show your thanks.

The district uses your mite contributions to pay for the Witness pages. It is suggested that each society contribute $1 per member annually to cover this cost.
