About the Author

Kayla Winkler is a lifelong follower of Jesus, lifelong learner, and educator. She lives with her husband and two children in Central Texas. She began her career as a Director of Christian Education graduating from Concordia University at Austin, and earned her master’s degree from Concordia St. Paul, MN. She is an active member of Zion Lutheran in Walburg. Her career has ranged from running an early education center, to teaching middle school and high school students, and even spending a couple of semesters teaching at Concordia Texas.

She currently teaches theology courses at Concordia High School in Pflugerville. Her hobbies include studying, reading, serving on the church altar guild, teaching Sunday school classes both children and adults, crocheting, all things mom, singing in a local Christian community choir, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
