Faith Lutheran School strives to present students complete in Christ (Col. 1:28) by fostering love of learning, skills in critical analysis, leadership and independent thinking, and love of God and neighbor. This mission grant will provide tuition assistance for income-challenged families seeking classical Lutheran education for students in preschool through grade 12.

O Father of all people, who would have all come the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we pray for Faith Lutheran School, Plano, as they reach and teach students and their families. This school strives to follow Your words, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.” Please equip this school with understanding and leadership as they meet the needs of these students. Open the hearts of these students to hear Your true Word and through the Holy Spirit come to a saving faith in You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Mission Grant Spotlight — Faith Lutheran School, Plano

Faith Lutheran School of Plano not only offers students at all grade levels outstanding classical Lutheran classroom learning opportunities, but also provides intentional, educational field trips to a variety of museums, camps, and other venues.

FLS offers a variety of fine arts learning opportunities including band, choir, keyboarding, handbells, recorder, art, and more.

Early childhood preschool and pre-K programs focus on developing the whole child: spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. The youngest students grow and learn through worship, play, Christ-centered instruction, exploration, and discovery.

The school focuses on Christ-centered, classical Lutheran education at all grade levels — preschool through grade 12. Christ is at the center of all the curriculum for each student in every class. Prayer and worship are a part of each day.

A variety of physical education and sports opportunities are offered for students in all grade levels. Activities include field day, physical education classes, football, volleyball soccer, basketball, archery, and more.

Worship and Bible study are part of daily student life at Faith Lutheran School. Weekly all-school chapel, daily religion classes, regular catechism study, Christ-focused singing, and other activities are part of the daily rhythm at this school.

The school features a renowned high school choir that has performed at local sporting events, on regional choir tours, and at various worship services. Participation rate is 100% for high school students.

FLS has been serving the community for more than 50 years! Some of the school’s first students now send their children to the school, and some of the alumni have even taught at the school.

The school serves children and their families from many different countries at a wide variety of income levels. The school is the largest mission of Faith Lutheran Church and allows them to love and serve neighbors through Christ-centered education for God’s precious children preschool thru 12th grade.
