The purpose of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League Texas District is to equip all women of the Texas District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod through inspiration, education and discipleship, enabling them to reach others with the Gospel as they live in service to the Triune God.

37th Biennial Convention of LWML Texas District in Bryan/College Station will be hosted by the Post Oak and Bluebonnet Zones, June 28 - July 1, 2012. Set those dates aside to be "adorned" with God's Word.

About us:

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League Texas District serves all of Texas except El Paso.

Current Membership:

• 3,889 members in 256 societies
• 37 Individual Members
• 227 units (226 congregations and 2 universities)
• 30 zones

Texas represents a large mission field in itself. The LWML in Texas creates opportunities for Lutheran women to become more involved in Bible study and more aware of the need for outreach to people around them in need of the words of hope that are valid only in Christ.
