The purpose of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League Texas District is to equip all women of the Texas District of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod through inspiration, education and discipleship, enabling them to reach others with the Gospel as they live in service to the Triune God.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) Texas District falls under the umbrella of the LWML, a national organization, chartered by the State of Missouri.
