Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood Learning Center in Riesel, Texas, has served families since 1996 as the only daycare in this rural community and an important ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, established in 1883. The Center currently provides Christ‑centered care for 53 children from three months to five years, along with after‑school programs, sharing the love of Jesus through daily teaching, weekly chapel, vacation Bible school, and community service. The current flooring, now 30 years old, poses safety concerns for children and staff and needs replacement. This project will enhance safety, create a welcoming environment, and support continued outreach to families, many of whom have no church home. This mission grant will allow the removal and replacement of the flooring.
Gracious Lord, we thank You for this mission grant that will provide new flooring for this Christ-centered children’s learning center. Bless this project so the renewed space becomes safer, brighter, and more welcoming for every child who learns and grows here. May each step taken on these new floors be guided by your love, surrounded by your protection, and filled with joy. Strengthen the ministry of all who serve in this place and let your light shine through every lesson shared. We offer this prayer in the love of Christ. Amen.
