Little Lambs Parents’ Day Out Ministry at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sulphur Springs focuses on teaching pre-kindergarten and toddler students about the salvation won for us by our Savior, Jesus Christ, and God’s love for them. This mission grant will provide age-appropriate playground equipment and will allow for future expansion of the program.
Gracious Lord, Your Son said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belong the kingdom of God” (Mark 10:14). Little Lambs Ministry teaches children of Your love and grace through educational instruction and play. Bless this ministry and their purchase of new playground equipment to provide children appropriate opportunities for play and learning. Continue to provide support for the Little Lambs Ministry and grant growth in enrollment as they desire to teach more children about the love of Christ. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

New age-appropriate equipment is needed to replace aged slides and swings. Sharing the Gospel is the top priority of Little Lambs Parents’ Day Out ministry, from daily lessons accompanying crafts and activities, to weekly time with their pastor. Theses donated plastic kitchen items have already weathered over the last two years. Mission grant funds will be used to replace current equipment with more appropriate equipment for pre-kindergarten and toddle play. Little Lambs focuses on focuses on teaching pre-kindergarten and toddler students about the salvation won for us by our Savior, Jesus Christ, and God’s love for them. Team members and students posed for a picture during a hands-on summer learning event. Age-appropriate equipment will allow for future expansion of the program. While children enjoy a home-made slide, more durable equipment is needed. The children enjoy the donated play cars. They are a favorite of the children, but more are needed to accommodate everyone. Play is crucial for developing social skills in children.
