The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod recognizes the importance of seminary training to equip dedicated men for ministry to God’s people. To help offset the cost of attending seminary, scholarship funds will assist seminary students from the Texas District LCMS, enabling them to go out and serve with less financial burden.

O Lord, Your Son taught His disciples to pray earnestly that You would send out laborers into Your harvest (Matthew 9:37–38). The harvest remains plentiful; the workers still are few; but Your faithfulness endures forever. Grant, we pray, that men would faithfully answer Your call to labor in Your field. Use these mites to provide for the needs of future pastors who will proclaim Your Word, administer Your sacraments for the strengthening of faith, and call all people to trust in Christ for salvation. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
