The Lutheran Student Center’s (LSC) mission is to connect Texas Tech University students and the community with Christ and His Church through fellowship, service, and faithful teaching. After selling its former building, LSC has entered a new stage of ministry without a fixed location, creating an unexpected, but meaningful opportunity to go directly to the students wherever they naturally gather. The Pop‑Up Tailgate Outreach will bring ministry directly to campus and neighborhood events. This mobile approach equips volunteers and students to share Christ’s love, offer resources, and foster meaningful relationships that encourage young adults to grow in faith and live it out in service to others. This mission grant will provide portable branded equipment, supplies, and gospel materials to support this effort.

Father of all nations, You invite us to bring all people to Christ. We thank You for the many volunteers who have carried the ministry of the Lutheran Student Center through changing times. We pray God’s continued blessings on this ministry as the method of delivering Your message must change. We give thanks that this mission grant will be used to purchase portable equipment, branded outreach gear, supplies, and Gospel material to engage students and neighbors with the saving message of Jesus Christ.
