Spring Rally

WHAT: Featuring guest speaker, Deaconess Noemi Guerra

COST: $5 including lunch
The South Plains Zone will have their Spring Rally at Hope Lutheran Church, 5700 98th Street, on Saturday, May 16. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Program will start at 10:00 with guest speaker Deaconess Noemi Guerra, Mission Support Specialist for Area A and Evangelist trainer/coach for all of Texas. She will share a message from Luke 10:38-42. In this powerful passage, we are reminded that sitting at Jesus' feet is not a luxury for a few - it is the priority that gives life to all Christian service. In the midst of our busy schedules, responsibilities, and ministry work, Jesus calls us first to Himself. From that place of devotion flows everything else. Come be refreshed, refocused, and renewed as we reflect on what it truly means to choose "the better part".
Service Workday - February 8, 2026
The Women of Hope Lutheran Church LWML in Lubbock had a service work day to help fund our mission projects by making snacks that we sold on Sunday, February 8, for the Super Bowl. We received money from Thrivent to help us fund the expenses and a portion of the proceeds were given to Mites.
